Excursion to Upper Swabia (Oberschwaben)
Ralph, Waltraud, Albrecht and I took advantage of the summer weather on the Corpus Christi public holiday and made a wunderfaul excursion to Upper Swabia.
First we visited lake Federsee by Bad Buchau - a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Afterwards we drive to the seemingly unimposing village of Steinhausen - which was indeed deceptive as within that village "the most beautiful village church in world" stands - really a wonder to behold! Towards the end of the day we then travelled to Bad Schussenried to visit the magnificent library hall, housed in the Schussenried monastery.
